Stock #3896 Price: $175.00 Longines square Yellow 10kt gold filled case. Dimensions: 36x25mm. Bezel is excellent - very little wear front or back. Back is excellent - minimal wear for its age. No personalized engraving. Superbly restored dial. Excellent replacement crown. 17J manual wind movement sets, winds, keeps reasonable time. This is a one-in-one-hundred watch as far as case condition is concerned. So fresh, that it still has the factory milling pattern on the back. Dial was probably refinished only because the clearcoat had darkened with age. And how often do you see a dress watch with a sweep second hand? Normally, these Longines watches have subsidiary seconds. Beautiful domed crystal. Finished with a peanut brown smooth-grain leather band (18mm). Just a lovely watch from the 1950s. Additional images: side view, topside view, and back view. Was $195; now reduced to $175. To purchase this watch, click the “buy now” button

Stock #4109 Price: 279.00 Elgin 1920s cushion Yellow gold filled case. Dimensions: 39mm high lug to lug by 30mm wide, not including crown. Bezel is excellent - very little wear front or back. Back is excellent - minimal wear for its age. No personalized engraving. Excellent original dial. Excellent replacement crown. 7J manual wind movement Sets and winds perfectly and keeps acceptable time. This gold-filled Elgin from the 1920s is a one-in-a-million watch. The case and original dial are both in BEAUTIFUL condition. I'm showing you this watch both with the band on and the band off so you can see the ultra-fat wire lugs. This is a case style you don't see often. If you like early watches, you are going to flip when you see this one in the flesh. The dial has a light, even honey toning that is just gorgeous. In all honesty, the photos don't begin to do it justice. Finished with an 18mm black open-ended leather band. The owner just about wept upon parting with this one, but had some unexpected bills to pay. Find me a nicer one anywhere that's for sale for the same money, and I'll buy you a steak dinner! Additional images: here, here, here, and here. Was $325; now reduced to $279. ON HOLD
Stock #4147 Price: $125.00 Dale Evans character watch Yellow electroplate bezel, stainless steel back. Dimensions: 36mm high lug to lug by 25mm wide, not including crown. Bezel is excellent to near mint - virtually no wear front or back. Back is near mint - virtually no wear. No personalized engraving. Near mint original dial. Excellent original crown. 1J Ingraham movement ticks, but hands only move in dial down position. What we have here is a near-mint copy of the 1940s or '50s Ingraham Dale Evans watch looking for a new movement, or someone to restore the existing movement. The watch runs in the dial down position and keeps time to within a couple min/day. However, the hands remain stationary in the dial up position. Also, the stem is somewhat floppy, indicating an oversize stem is in order. Maybe it's just a matter of tightening the canon pinion, or inserting a washer to raise the pinion. Probably easiest fix would be to transplant a whole new movement in there. Should't be too hard, since Ingrahm made these movements by the thousands. Consignor just doesn't want to fool with it. His loss is your gain. He's installed a new "western theme" engraved leather band. Beautiful piece; just needs a transplant or someone with some patience to fix the existing movement. If you're into Roy Rogers stuff, this watch is for you. Additional images: here, here, and here. To purchase this watch, click the “buy now” button
